Lynn Daniel

President

Lynn is a national expert in B2B customer service.  His background includes management consulting, corporate planning and new product management experience. Before starting The Daniel Group in 1989, he held management positions with Rexam Corporation as well as sales and sales management positions with Eli Lilly Company.

His work focuses on:
  • Developing and implementing effective team-based approaches to strategic planning for companies and non-profit organizations,
  • Conducting market research studies to help guide the profitable development and introduction of new products and services, and
  • Looking for better ways to find and keep profitable customers.
Lynn has written articles that have appeared in Long Range Planning, The Journal of Business Strategy, and The Business Journal. He has been quoted in the New York Times, Business NC, CBS MarketWatch, and INC, among others. He is the president of the board of trustees of the North Carolina State University Alumni Association. Kim Hare

Administrative Manager

Kim brings more than ten years of experience with Wachovia Corporation (formerly First Union Corporation). Her background includes branch management, operations analysis, and project management. In addition to handling administrative duties for The Daniel Group, she conducts research for The Daniel Group clients. Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Richmond.

Meredith Ritchie

Director of Business Development

Meredith brings more than 16 years of experience with selling or supporting corporate to corporate sales divisions in the financial services and staffing industries.  She was vice president of sales for The Mom Corps, Inc., a niche staffing firm. Prior to that, she was an executive with Bank of America for nine years in training and development and spent five years as a treasury management sales office at a predecessor of JP Morgan Chase. She holds an MBA from Butler University in Indiana and a B.S. in Business Economics and Public Policy from Indiana University.

As Director of Business Development, Meredith's responsibilities include:

  • Developing clients in new markets
  • Managing The Daniel Group website and marketing materials
  • Researching and identifying new markets for The Daniel Group’s services

Iris Savage

Director of Service Improvement

Iris’ background includes project management, facilitation and training, employee relations, and diversity management. Iris worked as a Project Manager for Monsanto Company where she designed and managed capital projects for a multi-unit chemical plant. Iris is also an ordained minister. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama and a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke University.

As Director of Service Improvement, Iris' responsibilities include:
  • Researching the database of almost 70,000 interviews in LinkConnect to identify best practices we can share with our clients
  • Working closely with clients on the reviews and other consulting services we provide to clients

Wendy McCreery

Research Manager

Wendy brings more than 18 years of experience with US Airways. Her background includes customer service operations and retail marketing. Prior to moving into the Research Manager role, she was a Research Team Leader with The Daniel Group. Wendy attended Hard Barger Junior Business College and East Carolina University.  As Research Manager, Wendy's responsibilities include:
  • Management of research personnel which includes recruiting and staffing, training,  evaluation, and scheduling
  • Maintaining quality assurance for the telephone interviews conducted by research personnel
  • Daily client support
